The species present in these locations come from a variety of trophic levels and over the course of the year, play a role in sustaining the ecosystem and allowing for the growth of the flora and fauna that resides there. The plants and animals are all cyclically connected; inspiring an underlying theme of connection enabling growth.
The six categories we identified to explore further were woodland insects, wetland macroinvertebrates, woodland trees and shrubs, woodland groundcover, amphibians and reptiles. We paired them up with a different category in the casting process each time to further represent how they are all linked to one another.
